A free, summer music camp was held Monday to Friday, July 17 to July 21, and was open to children K – 5, with older children and adults creating costumes and scenery for the final performance on Friday evening July 21 at 6:30pm. The title of the musical was “Malice in the Palace,” a musical for young voices which tells the biblical story of Esther with its powerful message that the smallest person acting bravely can make an enormous difference, and that God has placed us where we are for a reason.
The camp leaders were Richard and Luci Barnett. Richard is the St. Luke Director of Music. The camp was a great success and our thanks go to Richard and Luci as well as all who took part and supported the camp in any way.
