60th Anniversary Lunch and Program

The church celebrated its 60th Anniversary of worship and community on the current site at the corner of Chippenham Pkwy and Custis Road, although the founding Charter was actually signed in March 1959, before the church was gifted this corner plot of land. The Anniversary began with worship, then moved into the Fellowship Hall for an excellent lunch of pork shoulder, red cabbage, green beans and roast potatoes, all cooked by our chief chef, Dieter. After lunch, we went back into the Sanctuary for the program, including music and some memories from former Pastors who have served this church over the last 60 years.
