While our church has many activities for all ages, it also has places of quiet and meditation. One of the quiet places is the Memorial garden where church members pause to remember those whom they have lost and who are now part of the Church Triumphant. Jesus took his disciples apart from the crowds to places of quiet to pray and teach them. Mary met the Risen Lord in a garden on the first Easter Sunday morning. So we too seek our Risen Lord’s presence in this garden, reminding us that those who have gone before are still part of our hearts and our fellowship and they are with our Lord in peace and love.
Our children and young people also have places set aside for them to play and be with their friends. There is a small playground for young children (adult supervision required) and older children and young people play on the patio and the parking lot.
